Clarity & direction

Get clear

Three outcomes sound simple until you have to pick one. This is the work that happens before any money is spent: what you sell, who it is actually for, which channel deserves your budget this year — and which one you should stop paying for. You leave with a written plan you could hand to any agency, including one that is not us.

See the plans

What you get

Everything that turns a guess into a plan.

Marketing audit

A plain read of your presence, your last twelve months and your competitors — what is working, what is decoration, and what is quietly costing you money.

Positioning and offer

Who you are for, what you say first, and whether the price is aimed at the customer you actually want. The part most plans skip and most businesses need most.

Channel verdicts

A keep, change or stop on every channel you run, with the reasoning written down so the decision survives the meeting.

Competitor read

What others in your category are doing, and specifically which gaps are worth taking while they are still open.

Twelve-month calendar

Seasons, festivals and buying cycles mapped, so next year anticipates them instead of reacting a fortnight late.

Measurement plan

What success looks like at month six, agreed in writing at month zero — so nobody moves the goalposts later, us included.

Right for you if

This is the right first move if…

  • ·You are not sure which of the three outcomes to start with
  • ·You have spent on marketing before and cannot say what it returned
  • ·You have your own team and want the thinking, not the execution
  • ·You are launching something new and the positioning is not settled

How it runs

Four steps, repeated every month.

  1. Audit

We go through the accounts, the numbers and the competitors before we ask you a single question, so the first conversation is about evidence rather than opinion.

  2. Interview

Ninety minutes with you, and where it helps, two of your customers. Most of the plan comes out of what you already know but have never had to say out loud.

  3. Decide

Positioning, channels and the calendar argued through with you rather than presented at you. Disagreement here is useful — it is far cheaper than disagreement in month four.

  4. Hand over

A written plan, a session to walk through it, and a clear recommendation of which outcome to start on. Yours to keep, whoever ends up running it.

Questions

Before you commit.

Isn’t strategy already included in your plans?

Yes, and it stays included — every retainer has it and you will never pay for it twice. We sell it on its own for two reasons: you want a plan before committing to a monthly engagement, or you have your own team and only want the thinking. If you do go on to a retainer, the fee comes off your first month.

What do I actually receive?

A written plan — audit, positioning, channel verdicts, competitor read, twelve-month calendar and measurement plan — plus a ninety-minute session to walk through it, in person where possible. The document is yours to keep and to hand to anyone.

What if the plan says not to hire you?

Then it says that. It has happened. If the real constraint is your pricing, your follow-up, or the fact that nobody answers the phone after six, then more marketing is the wrong purchase — and we would rather write that down than bill around it.

How long does it take?

Two to three weeks from the first call. Faster is possible and usually worse: the audit needs a full look at the last twelve months, and customer interviews take time to arrange.

Can you keep doing this without doing the rest?

Yes. A quarterly advisory arrangement — the review, the channel verdicts and the honest read, with your own team doing the work. Tell us that is what you want and we will quote it that way.
